digital enhancement microscope

Microscopes could have digital enhancement. I mean, instead of looking at the object directly through the optics, the object could be viewed through a camera with the aid of magnifying optics, and the signal from the camera would go to a screen, and the user would look at the screen. And between the camera and the screen, there could be electronics that would enhance the image. For example, using some kind of artificial intelligence. If these were microscopes to be used in schools or given to children for their first communion, it wouldn't even matter if this artificial intelligence confabulated. Even a lot. If it saw that something vaguely looked like onion cells, then being trained to recognize such cells, it would draw in what was needed.
