serbo-croatian word derived from sumerian
There is a word in Serbo-Croatian that comes from Sumerian. This is interesting because Sumerian is neither Indo-European nor even Semitic - it's unrelated to anything. The word is "dućan", which means shop ( https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/du%C4%87an ). It came into Serbo-Croatian from Turkish, there it came from Arabic, there from Assyrian, and there from Sumerian.
