book where two characters smoothly exchange their personalities
There are books where a character changes their nature during the story - for example, "The Deluge," where this happens to Kmicic. There are books where characters have opposite personalities - for instance, "Don Quixote," where Don Quixote and Sancho Panza are like that. And interestingly, is there a combination: a book where there would be two characters with opposite personalities who would change during the story so that by the end the first would become like the second was at the beginning, and vice versa.
