how to wean off the pacifier
If anyone needs to wean their child off the pacifier, I recommend the method my parents told me, which I have tried myself. You need to trim the pacifier every few days. Very little, as little as possible - by a millimeter or two. The pacifier becomes less and less enjoyable, but so slowly that the child doesn't have time to protest. Eventually, they don't like the pacifier as much and you can easily take it away. It's important to never give a normal, untrimmed pacifier, not even once.
