couldn't find any smurfs
I've heard a lot about smurf DDoS attacks (you ping some external broadcast address with spoofed origin address, and then each machine in the pinged networked answers to the spoofed address - google for more description). I tried to find any networks vulnerable to this attack. I pinged 21731 C class addresses ending with 255:
nmap -sP -PE -n 193-something.0-255.0-255.255
but none of them answered more than once. Does it mean there are no networks vulnerable to smurf any more?
