Recently I had a problem. I put my USB pendrive in, KDE shouts:
"A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient,see message bus configuration file(rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume"member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")".
Somebody adviced me to add myself to groups plugdev and cdrom. I\'ve done it (editing /etc/groups) and then restarted. It helped. Now everything works ok.
